Charlie says
1. What prompted you to enter the photographic competition
at Whittington castle?
A. I have taken up photography during the period of lockdown and my Grandad is
an excellent photographer. He gets his photos in the paper, so I wanted to
follow in his footsteps and be like him taking photos and having fun learning
about the hobby. I guess, it was the fact that mum pointed it out to me on
Facebook, I’m always keen to enter a competition and I wanted to take some
photos at the castle anyway so what better way than to enter them into a
competition.
2. What do you enjoy most about photography?
A. I enjoy making memories whilst taking my photos, I don’t just take it and
forget about it, I like to learn something whilst taking my photos. I love
taking photos and am very proud of all my photos no matter what other people
think.
3. What subject do you usually take photographs of?
A. I usually photograph plants and nature but I am working on sports, still
life and people.
4. What did you use to take your photo?
A. I used my 20× Fujifilm camera that I was given very generously by mum’s
friend.
5. Will winning in the competition inspire you to enter more competitions?
A. Yes, I have had a lot of confidence from this achievement so it will prompt
me to enter more competitions like this and the Christmas competition you are
hosting as well after this one. I am very grateful for the opportunity that I
had.
