Veronica Lillis – Judge for January
“We moved to Whittington 26 years ago when our children were 3 and 6 and have so many happy memories of them playing in the Castle grounds and feeding the ducks.
I am a member of the Whittington PCC and a Trustee of the League of Friends of RJAH. In January I was appointed by the Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire to be one of her 30 Deputies.
I am very excited about seeing the range of Christmas photos submitted to the competition – what a lot of scope, from bright lights to typical wintery Christmas scenes. It will be a pleasure to judge them.
I love the huge sense of history whenever I visit the Castle and imagine the endless Border skirmishes that must have happened in the area. Recently I have had the most SENSATIONAL hot chocolate from the Tea Room – complete with Maltesers – delicious!
Good luck and enjoy your photography!
