Thursday 22nd October saw the a sad day at the Castle.  R.S.P.C.A. officers called to collect the 5 cygnets at the Castle.  The cygnets leave the castle each year as the site is not large enough to sustain them and Bill the father starts to attack them as they get older.

They are being moved to a lakeside setting at Gresford and we hope that they will be happy in their new home.
