CYGNETS HAVE STARTED TO HATCH 12TH MAY 2010 SO FAR AT LEAST 4 CYGNETS.  Often during the first few weeks of life the parents will take the cygnets down to the river away from the castle.  So please do not be too disapointed if you cannot see the family when you visit in the next 2 weeks.

We have 6 cygnets now all safe and on the water with mum and Dad. 

As predicted they are often down by the river as of 20th May.

 Please keep your distance from the nest and leave nature to take it course.
